The challenge ...
Librarian, Jan Ayres, worked with SEROTA library furniture
on two libraries when she was at the Royal College of Midwives
and chose SEROTA in a competitive three-way bid for the furniture
requirements at her new post at the College of Optometrists.
The College of Optometrists had old shelving which had suffered
three moves and was falling to pieces.
The solution ...
SEROTA library furniture was brought in to completely replan
the whole library. The first tranche was completed in January
2004 and SEROTA designed and supplied the first batch of shelving,
a journals display cabinet and cabinet for rare books. The second
tranche included a reading table and chairs and an issue desk.
